Chakra Healing
This is an incredibly powerful and enjoyable form of healing which works through the core of the body's energy system - the 7 chakras. It is based on the 'mind/body mirror system which reflects that any imbalance in the physical body comes from a tension in one's consciousness.
Clearing and balancing the chakras heals the physical body, emotions, mind and spirit. Usually only one session is needed - come if you are ready and willing to be totally healed. Based upon the teachings of Martin Brofman, author of 'Anything Can Be Healed'. For more information visit his website www.healer.ch

Sports/Deep Tissue Massage
This therapy is a comprehensive package of care for people with pain and injury problems that affect them at work, and/ or, during their leisure time. These could be work, sports or non-sports related problems that affect joints, muscles, tendons or ligaments (soft tissue) and could cause pain in most areas of the body.
Sports and remedial massage realigns joints, areas of which are being worn unevenly, causing imbalances in the joint causing pain, swelling and in the worst case scenarios; arthritis.
It acts also as an early detection system and can prevent the build up of an acute injury.
The therapy consists of four key components:
- Assessment: whereby the causes of the problem are identified by taking a present and retrospective view. This includes medical history, lifestyle, postural assessment plus passive and active range of movement testing and strength.
- Treatment: to cure the site of the pain or injury or the factors causing it.
- Re-education: clients learn how to change unhelpful practices in order to look after their bodies and prevent repeat injuries.
- Proprioceptive Work: such as stretching and strength, conditioning programs are set for the client to do between treatment sessions until the problem is resolved.

Reiki
Reiki is a system of natural hands-on healing originating in Japan. Reiki works with the vital energy around and within all living things called 'Ki' ('Qi' or 'Chi' in Chinese). During a treatment, 'Ki' is channelled into the client through the practitioner's hands being placed in a series of non-intrusive positions covering the covering the client's body. Reiki works on all levels of a person (mental, physical, emotional and spiritual) to restore balance, health and wellbeing. It can be very relaxing; it can boost the immune system, balance emotions and relieve many illnesses by reinforcing the body's natural ability to heal itself. As a natural form of healing Reiki can support and enhance other forms of treatment.
Reflexology
Reflexology is an ancient complementary therapy which deals with the principle that there are reflex points on the feet and hands which correspond to all the glands, organs and structures of the body. By applying gentle pressure to these points a Reflexologist can detect imbalances within the body. A treatment improves blood circulation, releases toxins, restores energy and provides deep relaxation. Reflexology brings relief to a wide range of acute and chronic conditions by maintaining the body's natural equilibrium

Nutritional Therapy
Nutritional therapy is for anyone who wants to improve his or her health. You may have experienced symptoms for so long that you have forgotten what it is like to feel really well. With the help of a nutritional therapist you have the power to make a very profound change to your health.
We all need to eat, but what we choose to eat and drink is vital to what we are and what are bodies may become. Health professionals are well aware that many diseases and illnesses are often at least in part linked to poor nutrition. So understanding and paying attention to our diets becomes all the more important if we want to achieve good health and one of the most beneficial steps we can ever take in working towards achieving it, is to start by addressing our diets - a healthy life begins with a healthy diet.
Nutritional Therapy is the application of Nutritional Science for the promotion of health and disease prevention. It seeks to understand the key underlying reasons for your health problems and in doing so aims to treat the root causes as well as the physical symptoms you may be experiencing by making simple changes to your specific diet and lifestyle.
Nutritional Therapy is based on the principle that we are all uniquely biochemically different and therefore it follows that our nutritional needs can vary individually as well. Nutritional Therapy is therefore all about removing the 'one size fits all approach to health' and tailoring a programme that is specific to YOUR personal needs. Looking at how YOUR individual body functions as a whole and making connections between what you eat, how you live and your medical history. Making educated changes to your diet can bring about huge improvements to your health, by using the therapeutic and healing power of food and supplements that your body specifically needs, under the advice and guidance of a qualified Nutritional Therapist such as Roz.

What does a consultation involve?
Before your first appointment you will be sent a detailed questionnaire to complete and return along with a 5 day food diary to be analysed before the consultation.
First consultations will normally last 75 minutes. During this appointment, more detailed information about you is gathered concerning your medical history and lifestyle. Throughout the consultation your personal needs will be paramount. Roz will work with you to provide a plan that is both appropriate to your goals, taste and budget as well as being achievable with your lifestyle.
In certain cases, I may also recommend laboratory testing if I feel it would be beneficial to the diagnosis. All of the tests I recommend are science based and are conducted by well known laboratories.
How often will I need a treatment?
At least one follow up consultation is usually recommended 4-6 weeks after your first consultation to discuss and monitor your progress and to make changes to your personal programme where necessary. Consultations will either be 30 minutes or 1 hour depending on your individual requirements. The number of consultations needed varies between each individual client, but on average two to three consultations are required.

Homeopathy
A natural form of medicine based on 'treating like with like'. The remedies are carefully selected, matching the symptoms the patient produces. They work by stimulating the body's own healing powers to restore the balance of health.
Used properly it has no side effects and there are no risks involved. This is why many people turn to homeopathy when other medication has failed or is not advisable and why it is used during childbirth, for babies and children.
